New beef scorecard measures brands against their deforestation promises
Food companies have shown themselves to be sensitive to pressure, responding to shifts in consumer habits and demands, says a new report published by environmental nonprofit Mighty Earth. They are lagging behind their own commitments to provide consumers with deforestation-free beef products.
