Oman LNG signs deal with Shell to ship Middle East first carbon - neutral LNG cargo

The Gulf of Oman is to export its first cargo of natural gas (LNG) from the Middle East to offset CO2 emissions generated by planting trees in a bid to reduce the amount of carbon emitted to the country. UAE says it will spend $300 million over the next three years.
