USyd to divest from only some fossil fuel companies over next five years
The University of Sydney (USyd) has become the first Australian university to endorse plans to divest from all fossil fuel companies, which are not making progress to the transition to low-carbon economy. Environmental activists say they are “greenwashing at best”.
