Banks eye opportunities – and risks – in carbon offset boom
The global market for voluntary carbon offsets is on track to double in size to around US$1bn this year, according to Standard Chartered. But these activities are also fraught with risks for the banks and companies involved, writes the BBC's Chris Stokel-Walker.
