FSA chief scientist says eco - labels are golden opportunity for industry
There is no easy way for consumers to make evidence-based purchasing decisions about their food’s environmental impact, according to the Food Standards Agency (FSA) chief executive, Brian May, in a speech on Tuesday. Why? Environmental sustainability labelling is being branded 'a marketing gimmick'.
