Sources : Brazil withheld deforestation data til COP26 end
Deforestation in the Amazon fell by 22% between August 2020 and July 2021, according to a report from the National Institute for Space Research (Prodes) monitoring system released Thursday. The latest figures have been published by the Brazilian government amid concerns about reprisals.
