Weather : 2021 is 5th hottest year since 1979 ; NASA , NOAA data on climate change soon
Last year was the hottest year on record for the world's average land temperature, according to a new analysis of data published by the Copernicus service which aims to track the rising temperatures in the UK and Northern Ireland earlier this year.
