SEC Publishes Proposed Rule Requiring Climate Disclosures | Troutman Pepper
Public companies could be asked to disclose climate-related information in their registration statements and periodic reports, under new rules published by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on Wednesday. Following the introduction of a new law, they will have to rely on guidance from the regulator.
