Asian banks good at selling green finance , falling short on decarbonisation efforts : report
The International Energy Agency (ARE) has published a new study into Asia’s banks, which says they have no policies to phase out coal lending, despite being told that the global warming cannot exceed 1.5 degrees Celsius if the region is to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050.
