Manulife Investment Management announces new principles for timberland and agriculture carbon projects

New guidelines for managing carbon credits for timber and agriculture have been unveiled by a leading investment management firm. The firm says it will increase carbon offset demand by up to 100 times by 2050, according to the company's chief executive.
