Opinion : Greenwashing decarbonization
Royal Dutch Shell's decision to sell off its stake in the Umuechem oil field in Nigeria last year was a step forward for its goal of reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 2050, according to the New York Times and environmental advocacy group EDF.
