BNY Mellon Affiliate Settles SEC Charges Over ESG Statements With $1 . 5 Million Penalty

A US investment adviser has agreed to pay a cease-and-desist order and censure following an investigation into its environmental and governance funds (Environmental Governance Scheme) statements, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has said.
