Russian doll gas and nuclear lobbying threatens EU energy independence – new research

Russian energy firms used lobbying connections reminiscent of nesting Russian dolls to influence the inclusion of fossil gas and nuclear energy in the EU’s sustainable investments, according to a new report by Greenpeace France. Why does this mean?
