Deutsche Bank settles money - laundering case for €7m

A German bank has agreed to pay a total of €17m (£18m) to settle an investigation into alleged fraud in the Syrian presidential elections in Syria, prosecutors have confirmed. Deutsche Bank says it acted “thoughtlessly”.
