Greenwashing power station given £2 . 4m in daily subsidies must justify environmental claims

The National Council for Climate Change (NCP) has rejected a complaint against Drax, the UK’s biggest biomass plant, over its environmental impact.Drax has been accused of misleading the public by saying that trees are burnt to supply electricity.
