Make polluters pay for climate adaptation , voluntary carbon market body proposes
Consumers could be given a share of the proceeds of selling carbon credits to help vulnerable communities adapt to climate change, according to the voluntary carbon market negotiator for the West African Alliance on Carbon Markets, BBC News has learned.
