ESG Funds Face SEC Probe Over Ceding Votes on Social Issues
The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has launched an investigation into whether investors of sustainable investment funds are trading away their right to vote on environmental, social and governance issues, according to four people with knowledge of the matter. The FBI says it is investigating the practice.
