Europe securities markets regulator endorses ESG benchmark label to deter greenwashing
The European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) has called for a new EU benchmark label to be introduced in the European Union and other countries in order to protect investors from "greenwashing" and "environmental interference" in financial markets.
