DR Congo Oil Auction Setback to # AfricaClimateCrisis Fight

The government of the Democratic Republic of Congo says it is seeking permission to drill oil and gas blocks in the country's remote rainforests to protect climate targets, a report has revealed. However, it does not believe that nine of them overlap with protected areas.
