Governments urged to act after oil giants accused of misleading public
The US House of Representatives has released documents showing that oil companies privately downplayed their public messages on efforts to tackle the climate crisis, according to a US committee on oversight and reform. Britain’s Shell and BP have been accused of misleading the public.
