UAE Selects Fossil Fuel Exec to Lead COP28
The president of the United Arab Emirates’s national oil company, Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, has been named as the president-designate of a UN climate summit, according to the BBC's Global Witness investigation. Climate campaigners have called for his appointment to lead peace talks.
