SEC Commissioner Warns Creating ESG Rating Standards Could Have Orwellian Consequences
The US Treasury has warned that a government-dictated rating system could lead to “greenwashing”, which threatens to attract investors to their wealthy businesses, according to the chief executive of the Securities and Exchange Commission.
