Glencore Bid for Teck Shows It Willing to Abandon Coal
The world’s biggest mining company has rejected a proposed all-share deal to acquire Canadian miner Teck Resources, according to reports from the US state-owned company Bloomberg. Glencore Plc has offered the first concrete sign that it is thinking about exiting the business.
