MAGRABi restructures board for global governance standards
A leading Middle East retailer has appointed six new board members, including a chief executive and an independent director, as part of its restructuring efforts to achieve equal gender balance across the region s corporate governance landscape, the BBC has learned. The company is to become the first in the world to take over the business of an eyewear retail group which has been named as the Magarabi Retail Group, it has said it is planning to restructure its board structure, in an attempt to improve its business growth and reshape its fortunes, and ensure it aims to meet international standards and achieve an equality of gender and gender diversity within their industries.
