IoT - empowered decarbonisation in the energy sector
Energy companies are increasingly being held accountable for their decarbonisation efforts, according to a report from the Environmental Protection Agency (EEA) in New York. The BBC s weekly The Boss series profiles different business leaders from around the world, from climate change and the impact of fossil fuels on businesses and energy sectors in the UK and Europe. () But What is it likely to be the biggest challenge to tackle carbon emissions and environmental impacts of the global warming crisis, and how they could be able to monitor and optimise the de carbon footprint of greenhouse gases, energy plants and power grids, as well as the use of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies designed to help companies avoid rising levels of carbon pollution, the BBC understands how these devices can be used to track and monitor the environment, but what does it mean for energy companies to reduce the risk of deforestation and risk assessment of future regulations? Why is the technology behind the new initiatives to improve sustainable business practices? What makes it harder for them to take advantage of energy technology, writes David Robson, who looks at how it is making it easier to deal with the challenge of reducing carbon, in which scientists are trying to find out why it has become an important ally to the energy industry, asks BBC News presenter Jamie Bartlett. Here, we look at the possibility of an innovative approach to monitoring and monitoring sustainability - and what is in common?
