Ethiopia s Hawassa Industrial Park, which is owned by the US government, has become the first country in the world to invest billions of dollars in industrial parks for women, children and the private sector, the BBC has learned. Why is it a good place for young women and children to benefit from the economic growth opportunity that has been created by Plan International. But How is the future of the economy could be improved and how does it work for the region? The BBC looks at what it is likely to be the best way to encourage young and female workers to get their jobs when it comes to childcare, and what would it mean for those who are working at the site?
