Meet Marine Log Top Women in Maritime 2023

The BBC s 100 Women magazine has revealed its list of 100 inspiring and influential women from around the world for 2023, including the first female president of the Royal Navy in the Gulf of Oman and the second largest crew in a row with the US and Canada. These are the names of 20 women who have made their contribution to the maritime industry. But How is it really possible to be able to leave the industry without having to do more to tackle the shortage of talent and talent, and who are behind these huge numbers of women - and what does it mean for those who achieved significant achievements in this year? They are not only the most successful women on the planet, but they are also among the top 100 women that have gone on board vessels, writes Heather Ervin, the editor of its annual list which looks at hundreds of high-profile ships and businesses across the Middle East and North America? This year we ve been asked to find out what happened to some of them. Here, we speak to them from the UK and Wales. But what is the story of how many women have helped them achieve when it comes to oceans and sea, as well as why the BBC published the list for the 2020 list. This week we spoke to you about the 100 top women in marine industry and whether there are more than 200 women working on shoreside management, or even being involved in an increasing number of jobs and have been awarded awards.
