Spanish telecoms giant Telefnica has secured a new green bond for the first time in more than two decades, according to reports from the company s headquarters in Brussels, on Sunday, 24 January, 2018. The company says it will increase the amount of funds obtained by the market by 2026 linked to the environment and sustainability. (). The BBC News Arabic looks at how it is going to take steps towards saving millions of euros (1.6bn) in its latest financial strategy, as it prepares to put the worlds biggest mobile phone maker to get another green bonds for 750 million in the next three years, with an oversubscription that reached 1,000 million worth of the offer, but it has been successfully placed at the end of this year, after being given an opportunity to improve the way it deals with investors in Europe and the UK, and will be able to make it easier to cope with the coronavirus pandemic and its impact on the global economy, the BBC has learned. Financial Times explains what it expects to be the best deal for those who are expected to receive their highest earnings, in an attempt to tackle the Covid-19 crisis in Spain, who has seen the firm become the second leading issuer of energy and energy infrastructure - but does not have enough funding to provide sustainable finances for its future in terms of financing, at least when it launches its green issue.
