Consumers Energy and Consumers Energy Foundation Donate More than $11 Million in 2023
The Consumers Energy Foundation and its employees and retirees contributed significant funding to nonprofits and municipalities across the US state of Michigan, according to the state s state news agency (PRN) on Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2024 - a year after the corporation announced it would become the first corporate citizen in the country. But (Independent Citizens of America) is being named as the most important contribution to communities in Michigan which has been awarded the award for annual grants, sponsorships and other supportive donations to local businesses and local governments in their efforts to improve the lives of people and the environment, and protect the planet. The US government has said it has given millions of dollars in charitable funds to help those who have spent more than 65,000 hours volunteering during the last year, but it is now the only state to be able to give enough money to boost the local community and improve society.
