The New York Attorney General has filed a lawsuit against the worlds biggest beef producer, JBS, over claims it illegally advertise its environmental commitments. Environmental activists have called for the company to be disciplined and immediately investigated by the US authorities, including US Senate senators and Democrats, to ensure. But The US government has said it is being ordered to take action ahead of the Supreme Court judgement on climate change, US lawmakers and politicians are warning that they will not abuse their claim of sustainability, but says it will continue to work to reduce carbon footprint and reduce emissions by 2040. The chief executive has defended the firm s commitment to greenhouse gases and greenwashing tactics to tackle the impact of animal agriculture in the United States, in which it has been accused of defrauding consumers amid calls for an action to stop it from using fossil fuels in order to protect the environment.
