Zain consolidated revenue hits $6 . 2bn in 2023 ; profit up 10pc
The world s biggest mobile phone operator has reported a 7% increase in net revenue for the first time in more than two decades, according to its latest financial results released by the BBC. These are the full-year results of the companys earnings and ebitda margins, and the impact of its operations on the Middle East. But One of Nigerian firms has said it has seen its profits surged by 5% to reach $700 million (541 million) in the third quarter of 2023, as it announced its net profit slumped by 10% over the previous year, with 15% of their annual income soared to $606 million, in which millions of customers were served by 5G networks across the world. The BBC has learned that the firm has recorded significant improvements in its network operating in Saudi Arabia and other areas of Asia and Asia, but it is now struggling to keep its market leadership in several prime markets including Kuwait and Saudi Aramco, after reports that it was expected to hit $600 million for another year in 2020, thanks to the launch of new technology giant Zain Group - the most profitable company in Africa.
