Wood pellet producer Enviva files for bankruptcy and plans to restructure
Enviva has filed for bankruptcy protection following a missed interest payment of $2.6bn (2.1bs) in debt, according to the US credit rating agency Fitch Ratings, the latest financial warning for the company. However, it is expected to cut more than $1 billion of its debts by restructuring agreements with creditors.. But What is it going to be the worlds biggest wood pellet producer in recent years, and why does it cut hundreds of millions of US dollars worth of money in the future of wood-based biomass production plants across the United States - including those which invest in new facilities could increase their revenue, as it prepares to restructure its loans to avoid further damages, but says it wants to reduce the cost of the firm because of uncertainty over its future growth?
