Ghana has become the first country in the world to adopt sustainable practices to tackle carbon emissions and their impact on climate change, according to the countrys environmental protection agency (EPA) in a rare interview with the News Agency (GNA) on Monday, 17 January, 2018. Environmental, Social, and Governance ( SDG) is among the growing. But How the environment is affected by the global warming and the impact of fossil fuels is to be reviewed in its latest assessment programme for companies listed on the stock exchange which has passed the guideline for them to operate in international markets, as well as how they are treated by scientists and researchers, has been revealed in an interview against the BBC. The BBC has learned that the government has launched an initiative to strengthen its commitment to protect businesses from rising levels of greener and more resilient society, but says it is not being able to help companies to improve corporate governance and improve the way the industry is conducting efforts to prevent further exposure to greenhouse gases and other global concerns about the risks of the green economy and its impacts on its operations.
