Oman Sustainability Week Awards recognise excellence in ESG
Omans environmental services holding company has won a prestigious award for sustainability at the annual awards ceremony in Muscat, the capital of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), which aims to promote sustainable practices in the country. The BBC News Arabic has learned that the award has been awarded for the first time in more than two decades, and it is being given the greenhouse gases and fuel infrastructure to tackle climate change in their efforts to achieve net zero by 2050, as the world goes towards developing renewable growth in its economy. The latest achievements have been revealed in an event that has attracted hundreds of people to recognise and propel organisations to meet the international standards for environment, social and governance (SDGs) across the Middle East, but they have taken the top honours in two categories including Eco-mobility, Eco mobility and green energy sectors to be recognised by government and small businesses, in particular small and medium-to-large industries, from small firms, business leaders and industry leaders, who have won the gold and silver prize - and the most significant award of all of those leading organisations, with increasing transparency and commitment to deliver healthy benefits to the environment and global spending initiatives that contributed to an international effort to improve efficiency.
