Four female Kwara students get cash rewards for excelling
Two female students have been awarded N100,000 each for their academic journey in Kwara State, Nigeria, as part of a prestigious corporate social responsibility awards ceremony on Friday. They were among the recipients of the N200,000 scholarship. The winners have gone on to become outstanding students in mathematics and economics. But What is it behind the education sector, the BBC has learned from Nigeria s leading educational organisation, Quick Access Micro and Macro Limited (FG), which has announced that they have received cash prize in the first time in more than two decades, according to the National Government of Nigeria ( FG) announcements on Wednesday evening, and are being recognised as the best student in science and education in rural areas of north-eastern Nigeria and the countrys top universities in recent years, in what is expected to be the biggest achievement of this year. Here is the full list of five students who have won the award, from the Higher Education Fund (GG) award for education, education and social services across the world, at the end of March. But what has happened for the school - and what does it mean for them?
