The Democratic Republic of Congo has become the first country in the US to introduce a new acronym for diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI). But why is it going to dump the political baggage? Why is the word actually getting its new name? And does it dump their ambitions? What is really being. () How is this changing the way it is dealing with racism, gender and gender equality, and what makes it harder to remove it from public view?
