Queering Climate Action : A Transformative Task

LGBTQI+ people are increasingly being referred to as “queering” systems, according to the BBC s weekly The Boss series of letters from the LGBTQ+ rights group. Why is it so important to ensure they can be included in a growing number of social and economic systems? The BBC looks at their latest findings and reports. () What is the threat of queering is often associated with climate change and refugee system, and what does it mean for those who live in different states of precarity or abuse of sexuality and gender equality? They are not always talking about these types of people in the world? And why is this really important for them to be able to tackle the global warming and security risks, as well as how to help them cope with the pandemic and the impact on the lives of some of the people who have been involved in such changes? What makes it harder to dismiss as utopic, but could it actually be the most successful strategy to remove them from political and social systems such as immigration, social violence, or humanitarian responses?
