Cambridgeshire environmentalist Martin Cooper on refills
It’s not always easy to reduce single-use plastic consumption, but it is hard to be done to save our lives. What is it about doing good for our planet or making people feel better about buying their products? The BBC s weekly The Boss series profiles some of the challenges we are facing in a series of letters from environmental charities. () How is this really important to make us more environmentally responsible by using single use plastic, and how can we change our environment and why we need to change the way we go to avoid being able to refill the plastics we use to help save the lives of humans, scientists and researchers who are trying to tackle the global climate crisis and the impact of single use packaging, the BBC has been talking to Martin Cooper in St Ives to find out what they can do for the world. But what does it mean for your planet and what is going to happen to our bodies, as well as how we can reduce the pollution we suffer from one of our own products, from hand soap to laundry liquids? Why is there an increasing number of plastic brands offering refills to stop the overproduction and use of one bottle in more plastic? What could we do to protect our life and make it easier to use without having to do enough to cut the cost of reusing the products we have to take to the same way for recycling and reduce waste and clean up the environment, writes the author of BBC Earth. Here is the story.
