Union Budget : India to give further push to green energy
India has announced plans for a further push to renewable energy sources, including solar, wind and e-mobility, as part of the country’s ambitious climate change initiatives aimed at boosting the economy and decarbonising growth. Environmental experts have warned that the government is seeking substantial funding for green infrastructure projects.. But How is India preparing to tackle environmental challenges, the BBC s Geeta Pandey looks at what it says is likely to be the biggest step towards sustainable development in the world, in their latest parliamentary budget for the next decade, but they are calling for an increasing effort to boost the green energy sector and boost sustainability targets. The government has said it will give another boost to the global warming and greenhouse gas emissions, and to give more support to green power projects, with the aim of encouraging more investment in energy projects which could be supported by fossil fuels, solar and wind, energy and transport sectors to get ahead in its annual budget - and it is important to focus on de carbonisation, deforestation and environment improvements in 2020, it has been revealed by the UK government amid growing concerns about the impact on the environment and the future of its economic recovery and resilience, writes C reduce, BBC News Marathi spoke to some of India economists who have called for it to take steps to improve the quality of energy in India, saying it should be prioritised for decades.
