A new initiative to tackle social and economic exclusion in Cork has opened for applications for a share of its funding in the Republic of Ireland, according to the latest announcement by the city s chief financial officer, Nigel Owens, who has been appointed as director of the Resilient Corк Fund for the first time in more than 50 years.
