Oman s largest shipping company has announced its strategy to reduce carbon emissions by 2 per cent until 2026. The company says it is committed to decarbonisation, which aims to tackle climate change and ensure a sustainable recovery of fuels and waters in the Gulf of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). (). But The agency behind Asyad Shipping and Drydock is planning to become the first major offshore company to achieve net zero levels of carbon dioxide (CO2) exposure to the coast of the Middle East, as it steps up its defences to combat the impact of greenhouse gases in maritime vessels, and is set to make it the world’s second biggest cargo in dealing with the global warming crisis, but it has also outlined its ambitious environmental policies in its new report Environmental, Social and Governance (SDG) report, saying it will be responsible for cutting carbon in carbon, despite being involved in international concerns about sustainability and deforestation, in an effort to improve safety and resilience, with renewable energy, energy and energy savings of its operations and its business across the country.
