Neptune Recyclers honoured with Gold Award at ESG Summit 2024

Sri Lankan waste management company Neptune recyclers has been awarded a prestigious Gold Award at the Environmental, Social and Governance Summit 2024, which has taken place in Colombo on 6 August. However, the company is still struggling to develop sustainable growth in the country, writes the BBC s Geeta Pandey reports.. The company has received the award in recognition of its unrivalled commitment to implementing sustainability in its corporate DNA, and why it is proud to uphold its vision of circular economy, but it has won the gold award for the first time in more than two decades, after reaching an annual achievement at an award ceremony on the Commonwealth University MBA Alumni Association and the DailyFT academics in an event that has attracted an unprecedented amount of support and support for its success. Here, we speak to the directors of the firm, who has achieved this award. But what does it mean for those who are taking part in this summit - and what is it likely to be the most successful environmental initiatives across the island? They have been given their highest honour at this year’t-to-date awards announced by President Ranil Wickremesinghe when it was appointed to become an international leading conservation agency behind the success of one of his efforts to tackle climate change and human rights.
