Seafood Legacy Co., Ltd. and Nikkei ESG will host the 10th Tokyo Sustainable Seafood Summit (TSSS) from October 8-10, 2024, aiming to strengthen the sustainable seafood movement. The event will address critical issues such as biodiversity loss, workers well-being, IUU fishery, human rights, traceability, and ESG investment. Nearly 400 speakers from various sectors will share their experiences and knowledge to achieve sustainability and equity in the seafood industry. The TSSS, launched in 2015, has become one of the largest events in Asia for discussing sustainable seafood. This year, the focus is on the new 2030 goal Win the mainstream, which aims to make the seafood industry more sustainable. Guest speakers from Asia include Wei-Hsiang Chang from Taiwan, Takeshi Mori from Japan, Putra Satria Timur from Indonesia, Jooyoun Lee from South Korea, and Junro Ito from Japan. The event will take place at Hall B7, Tokyo International Forum, with simultaneous Japanese-English interpretation for all sessions. Entrance is free, but pre-registration is required.
