First partners for COP29 announced

The first official Green Zone partners for COP29 in Azerbaijan have been announced, including Azerbaijani businesses SOCAR Green, PASHA Holding, and Azersun Holding. These companies have committed to sustainable practices and global climate goals, engaging with Azerbaijan’s National Pledge Programme to measure their potential to meet climate objectives and formulate future ESG strategies. The Green Zone partners will use this platform to connect with global climate policies, showcase their sustainability efforts, and support climate action transition in their business areas. The Green Zone will host a diverse mix of organizations showcasing climate-friendly products and solutions, with a full schedule of focused programs, including presentations, networking events, workshops, briefings, and music. Businesses can also host their own events with access to conference booking facilities and various meeting room formats for collaboration and networking. Narmin Jarchalova, Chief Operating Officer for COP29 Azerbaijan, emphasized the importance of the Green Zone partners in advancing climate action and fostering global cooperation.
