Konect62 s development manager, Robert Titterton, expressed excitement about the third letting at the site, which is expected to create 2,679 operational on-site employment roles. The first phase is projected to generate 1,500 full-time jobs, with an additional 1,000 jobs anticipated after phase two is completed. Phase two of Konect62 is awaiting planning approval and will add another 802,000 sq ft of logistics and manufacturing space. The total potential space at Konect62 is 1.9 million sq ft, with Campeys of Selby s lease being the third to secure the site. The company s expansion plans are expected to further boost the region s business opportunities.
