Gasparino Rips JPMorgan Boss for Playing Footsie with DEI
Charlie Gasparino, a Fox Business Senior Correspondent, criticized JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon for his support of radical and discriminatory diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives. In an article for the New York Post, Gasparino highlighted Dimon s apparent endorsement of DEI policies, which he claimed were linked to the political left and had discriminatory aspects. Dimon s support for DEI was also tied to his company s $30 billion commitment to a Racial Equity Commitment fund, which included provisions for racially discriminatory small-business loans. Gasparino also pointed out that JPMorgan is a platinum partner with the Human Rights Campaign (HRC), a leftist pressure group that promotes policies such as allowing men in women s restrooms and healthcare coverage for medically necessary transition-related care. Furthermore, Dimon s leadership during his time as chair of the Business Roundtable saw the adoption of the stakeholder capitalism model, which opened the door for groups like the HRC to influence corporate decision-making. Gasparino s article emphasized the dangers of leftist DEI ideology infiltrating corporate America and called for conservative media outlets to report on the issue. He argued that Dimon s support for DEI initiatives tarnished the image of a profitable and successful banking company. The article also mentioned that Dimon had claimed to be not woke at all, despite endorsing DEI as good for business and morally right. In summary, Charlie Gasparino criticized Jamie Dimon and JPMorgan Chase for their support of discriminatory DEI initiatives, highlighting the potential negative impact on the company s image and the broader implications for corporate America. Gasparino called for conservative media outlets to address the issue and raise awareness of the dangers of leftist DEI ideology.
