The scholarships cover tuition fees, accommodation, a stipend, and the provision of laptops to facilitate their studies. Chief Executive Officer of MTN Ghana, Stephen Blewett, expressed his enthusiasm for the progress of past scholarship recipients, many of whom have now secured senior positions within the company. He emphasized the foundation s commitment to education as a strategic approach to reducing poverty and fostering national development, citing research that indicates each additional year of schooling can increase an individual s income by 10%.
