SLO County asks residents how $15 million in federal funds should be allocated
San Luis Obispo County s homeless division is seeking community input to guide the allocation of $15 million in federal funds for housing, community development, and public services over the next five years. The county has launched an anonymous survey available until Oct. 6, 2024, at slocounty.gov/CommunityDevelopment. Local residents are encouraged to attend a public workshop on Sept. 30, 2024, and a countywide virtual meeting on Oct. 2, 2024. The survey results will be presented at a Board of Supervisors meeting on Oct. 22, 2024. The plans are mandated by HUD for CDBG, HOME, and ESG funding. For survey assistance, contact the Homeless Services Division at SS_HSDinfo@co.slo.ca.us.
