Cost of crypto : Report says US bitcoin as dirty as six million cars
Bitcoin mining is at an “intlection point”, according to a new report which suggests the industry’s carbon footprint is rising at breakneck speed, environmental groups have warned. Environmentalists have called on the US government to ban new operations.
