UK and European Lenders Lose £30bn Overnight as SVB Panic Spreads
The European-UK banking index saw a one-day decline of nearly £30bn in the wake of the collapse of Silicon Valley Bank, according to the Bank of England's annual statistics agency (RBS). They were also wiped off their balance sheets.
